This luxuriously restored 19th century property is home to wedding receptions, concerts, art exhibitions and business retreats, year ’round. Situated in Waitsfield, on 245 acres of majestic mountains and ponds, The Inn at Round Barn Farm is one of Vermont’s premier destinations. Owners Anne Marie DeFreest and Tim Piper needed to refinish the floors of the Round Barn quickly, so as not to interrupt scheduled events. They wanted a green product that cured quickly, was neutral in odor and didn’t compromise on durability. They chose [Vermont Natural Coatings Polywhey® Floor Finish](https://vermontnaturalcoatings.com/product/polywhey-natural-floor-finish/). “It’s critical that our floors are as beautiful and rugged as the surrounding countryside. Our floors now handle every kind of event and with them everything from high heels to ski boots,” said Tim. “We’ve held more than 100 events on the floor since refinishing and it looks as good as the day it was completed. We get compliments all the time and when we tell people we chose an environmentally smart, non-toxic finish they are amazed and impressed.” “How appropriate that a product given a second life as PolyWhey finds its way to one of Vermont’s most revered farmsteads that has been given a second life as a very successful and very green Vermont-branded business,” noted Vermont Natural Coatings’ founder and president Andrew Meyer.
